MURIETA! .... 1965

(Joaquin Murieta)  Jeff plays the real-life Mexican peasant, in California prospecting for gold with his wife, who becomes a famous bandit after he is beaten and robbed and his wife is murdered. Co-starring Arthur Kennedy, this movie was filmed in Spain.

Murieta! had a small, limited release on PAL DVD, with an English soundtrack, in South Africa as Revenge of Sartana; unfortunately, copies of this DVD have become very hard to find.
